Our team recently visited the non-profit Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) in Loudoun County, VA, to lend a hand with property maintenance, merchandise organization, dog walking, and cat cuddling.
All around the property were friendly faces— animals, staff, and volunteers alike! The organization sits within a pastoral 40-acre property crisscrossed by several miles of wooded walking trails.
FOHA offers a unique animal shelter experience and is regarded as a leading animal rescue organization in Virginia. They seek to save dogs and cats from the streets and find them forever homes. Founded in 1973, they were among the earliest no-kill animal nonprofits. To date, they have successfully saved over 16,000 dogs and cats in Northern Virginia.
